Machines [ More... ] Esfahan Urban Railway, The North to South Line - Middle Part Esfahan Urban Railway [ More... ] Esfahan Urban Railway, The North to South Line - South Part The twin tunnels across the city from Azady square to Soffeh terminal along the Hezar-Jarib street. The line is approximately 3.7 Km long and includes 3 stations with 100 m long platform. It consist of two reinforced concrete tunnels with a horseshoe cross section, 6.0 m equivalent diameter & 17 m average depth. The tunnels excavation will be carry out by four Road–Header machines and construction of Azady ramp has started. The Temporary support of station’s walls consist of Nailing and Reinforced Shot Crete with wire mesh and thickness is about 20 cm at any station.
